We are excited to announce that the APMAA 2025 Annual Conference will be hosted in a hybrid format at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia, from October 24 to 27 (tentative).
Under the theme "Management Accounting in Dynamic, Changing Business Landscapes," the 2025 conference will explore the evolving role of management accountants in driving resilience, sustainability, and innovation within organizations. The program will feature cutting-edge research across accounting and management disciplines, thought-provoking discussions, and exceptional networking opportunities.

Reflecting on 2024: Celebrating Our Achievements
　

2024 Webinar Series (APMAA (Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association) webinars since 2021)
Our 2024 webinar series was a resounding success, attracting a global audience and fostering valuable knowledge exchange. Some key highlights include:

 "Accounting in the Changing Environment" (June 1): Hosted by the APMAA Bangladesh Chapter, this webinar attracted 1,134 registrants from 16 countries, providing essential insights into the evolving role of accounting.

 "Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Management Accounting Practices" (September 4): Hosted by the APMAA Qatar Chapter, this session explored the transformative impact of AI on our profession, drawing 128 participants from around the world.

2024 Annual Conference (Hanoi, Vietnam) APMAA (Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association) 2024 Annual Conference (Official site):
The 2024 APMAA Annual Conference was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from October 28 to 31. The event began with a celebratory 20th Anniversary Banquet at the Grand K Hotel Suites Hanoi, bringing together 67 esteemed colleagues to commemorate APMAA's remarkable journey since its inception in 2004. It was an opportunity to reflect on our past achievements and look ahead to the future.
The hybrid conference attracted over 150 participants, with approximately 80 attending in person at the UEB-VNU campus. While there were minor technical challenges, the academic sessions sparked engaging intellectual discussions among participants.
The conference concluded with an enriching industry tour on October 31, where 50 international participants visited FPT, a leading Asian communications company, and two Hanoi-based firms. This experience reinforced APMAA's commitment to advancing accounting knowledge and fostering a vibrant global network.
