Dear APMAA Members and Colleagues,
As we move into August, we hope you're having a productive and
successful year. We are writing to you today to provide an update on
the APMAA 2025 Annual Conference.
APMAA 2025 Annual Conference in Malaysia
We are pleased to report a strong response to our call for
submissions, which opened on May 1. This year, we have received
over 70 submissions for the Academic Paper Sessions—an increase
from the 63 submissions for the 2024 conference. Additionally, we
have received eight submissions for the Doctoral Colloquium
Sessions.
The review process is now well underway, with more than 50 peer
reviewers evaluating the submissions. Each submission has been
assigned to two reviewers who are examining both the academic
formatting and content. Our review process is a collaborative
"catch-ball" between authors, reviewers, and the gatekeeper. We have
requested that all reviewers complete their reviews within two weeks
to give authors ample time to revise their papers.
We are thrilled to invite you to the APMAA 2025 Annual Conference,
which will be held in a hybrid format at Universiti Teknologi
MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia, from October 24 to 27. Under
the theme "Management Accounting in Dynamic, Changing Business
Landscapes," this year's conference will explore the evolving role
of management accounting in driving resilience, sustainability, and
innovation.
The conference will feature cutting-edge research in broad
accounting areas, thought-provoking discussions, and exceptional
networking opportunities. We encourage you to actively participate
in this significant event and look forward to welcoming you to
Malaysia!
