@ The APMAA 14th annual conference finished successfully on November 1. I would like to thank you for your participation and cooperation.The conference attracted over 130 research papers and 211 paid participants from more than 20 countries. Participants were from Asia-Pacific, Oceania, Middle-East, Europe and North America. During the conference, 107 research papers were presented and discussed: ninety-one papers in the parallel sessions, twelve papers in the doctoral colloquium, and 4 papers in the special session (Dec. 15, Susumu Ueno).

The 2018 Conference of Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association (APMAA 2018) is held at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan (https://www.waseda.jp/top/en) from October 29 (Monday) to November 1 (Thursday), 2018.. We welcome academia and practitioners around the world to join us in the APMAA 2018.

We
invite you to participate in identifying and tackling a new
frontier of Management Accounting by organizing Special
Sessions and/or Workshops
for APMAA 2018. The proposed
sessions and workshops expected to be related to the APMAA
2018 theme,h The Forefront of Management Accounting:
Research and Practices.h However other new streams in
research like gImplementation of Cloud Technology,h
gManufacturing Execution Management,h gCockpit for Top
Management Decision Makings,h etc. are welcome also.
You will be assigned a gone and half an
hourh timeslot (time bucket) in the parallel sessions. The
proposal for the Special Session
or the Workshop should clearly state session title, session
objective/ summary, targeted audiences, and names and
associations of a session coordinator, presenters and
discussants.Please send
your proposal (that shows a rough design of the
Special Session or the Workshop) by March
